Dr. Tina Nguyen earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health in Preventive Medicine from St. George’s University in Grenada. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Saskatchewan. Currently practicing medicine in the United Kingdom, Dr. Nguyen is training with the goal of specializing in dermatology, with a particular interest in psychodermatology and the psychosocial determinants of skin disease. Her academic interests encompass mind–body medicine, psycho-oncology, and the biological mechanisms linking stress to tumor progression. Her ongoing research, including a narrative review on the relationship between mindfulness meditation, stress, and tumor progression in stage T2-T3 melanoma, reflects her commitment to advancing research at the intersection of dermatology, public health, and behavioral science.
