Dr. Angela is a medical oncologist from Colombia, interested in the field of gastrointestinal cancer, cancer in minority people, cancer prevention, and early detection of cancer. Currently, our team is conducting studies with indigenous communities to deepen the knowledge of their cultural aspect and worldviews of cancer to design and implement programs involving their representatives in developing strategies to reduce the gap in the prevention and early detection of cancer.
In addition, we are also developing activities that encourage research in specialists in training in the area of Oncology in Latin America.
